Tuesday pedalling

We rode the short [6km] loop trail beside Myrtleford.

Geoff dropped his bike at the bike shop and we found a great café, always essential on a bike ride.  Actually, the tea drinking bike repairer recommended the café.  Geoff got a phone call from the bike repairer – the brakes are dangerous.   Adjustments were made to the bike

We crossed the Ovens River twice on swing bridges, where it’s better to get off the bike, through some bush and farmland.

We had lunch at a corner café and sat outside where they had water mist streaming from the veranda roof.  The owner said it was a bit humid to run the misting, but it kept away the wasps and flies.  We wondered whether it would keep away mosquitoes.

We went for an afternoon drive to Bright to meander around the town.  We had heavy rain at one point.  As recommended by a friend we bought the local wines we wanted at IGA.
